‘Mercury Cazimi’ is an original abstract acrylic painting on canvas, inspired by the astrological moment when Mercury is in the heart of the Sun.
In astrology, a Cazimi occurs when a planet is in the heart of the Sun, absorbing its power and radiance. It can signify mental clarity, insight and breakthrough.
A radiant blue vortex draws the eye to the painting’s center, echoing the cosmic precision of this alignment. Swirling textures and luminous layers created using pouring paints suggest waves of thought and energy in motion, while vibrant bursts of yellow, orange, and crimson pulse like sparks of inspiration in a sea of intuition.
The fluidity of the composition mirrors Mercury’s mercurial nature, while the glowing, almost electric atmosphere evokes the illumination that occurs when intellect meets soul. Painted intuitively during the astrological event itself, this work is both an homage and a channeling, inviting the viewer to tap into their own moment of inner brilliance.
