Painted with acrylic paint at a time when I finally decided that I really needed to stop overthinking about what people thought about me and my art.
Bold stencilled type sits over a weathered, silvery ground flecked with gold and black spatter, part graffiti, part industrial. The letters were cut by hand using a custom stencil which I created.
I made this as a reminder to myself: I was done waiting to be accepted, done seeking permission. People could take my art, or leave it, either way, I was making it. A statement piece with a personal one behind it, for anyone else ready to stop waiting too.
