Pencil and acrylic on hand-printed paper, 16 x 23.5cm - original, one of one.
A single, slightly wilting magnolia rendered in fine pencil linework, set against a hand-printed teal ground worked in loose, brushy strokes. The contrast does the work here: delicate, detailed botanical drawing against a textured, painterly background, giving the piece a layered, almost archival feel, part sketchbook study, part print.
On lightweight paper, so best kept flat and out of direct sun once framed.
Delivered unframed, sleeved in cellophane, and posted flat in a card-backed envelope.
