Brigid is the Celtic Goddess of the hearth, poetry, and healing. A keeper of thresholds.
Painted on raw canvas with frayed, unfinished edges that are integral to the work. There is also a line from the poem 'The Lady of Shalott' by Alfred Lord Tennyson and a brass hand stamped tag which says the word 'tend'.
The dogs at her feet are based on my own two goldadors.
Painted in watercolour on raw canvas. Framed in a beautiful metallic finish Italian frame. Ready to hang.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind work. Certificate of authenticity included.
