Cyanotype on deckle-edged watercolour paper, 11.5 x 19cm — original, one of one.
A trailing stem of leaves, laid straight from the garden onto light-sensitive paper and exposed in sunlight, leaves its imprint in deep indigo. The warmer, toned edges here read almost like old parchment against the blue, a variation that comes purely from the exposure and paper itself rather than anything added afterwards. No two cyanotypes come out the same, this one carries its own particular depth of colour and edge.
Genuinely one of a kind, there's no negative or plate to reprint it from.
Delivered unframed, sleeved in cellophane, and posted flat in a card-backed envelope.
