I love words.

I think that a writers ability to put a few words together and coney so many emotions is utterly amazing.

When I was clearing my mum's house out, after she had gone into a care home, I found all sorts.

She had several odd looking textiles and I've not a clue what they were intended for.

I decided to embroider the above quote onto one of them.

I stitched, in silence, which is unlike me, I've usually got music on, and sat for two hours just sewing. A very basic, simple backstitch.

It was really relaxing and quite meditative.

My love of words definitely comes from my mum.
